Fourth post: Clip evaluation

Evaluation of the short video clip, the clip shows John walking from the upper floor and walking down stairs. He enters a room and begins a conversation with Michael. He finds out that he has a English homework due for the next lesson so he leaves.

The first shot is of a long shot to show John entering the shot after and we follow him going into the cafeteria. We have an insert shot of the John opening the door, we cut to a medium shot of him walking into the room, we cut to a long shot in order to track him and show him sitting down. Before he sits down we cut to an over the shoulder two shot to introduce a new character, Michael. We cut back to john so he can finish sitting down. We cut back to a medium close up of Michael delivering the one line of dialogue. When this happens we cut back to John to show his dissatisfaction over what he has just found out. We show a POV close up of John in order to try and emphasize John’s emotion. We cut back to a two shot of Michael and John as john stands up and shakes’s Michaels hand. We then track John walking out the room and the clip ends.
